    Dr. John C. Yi has been residing in Northern Virginia for over 40 years.  After graduating from University of Virginia, he attended the Virginia Commonwealth University School of Dentistry in Richmond, VA, where he graduated in 2000 with cum laude and received the military dental school scholarship from the U.S. Army.
   

    Upon graduating, he served as active duty in the U.S. Army Dental Corps as a dental officer for four years overseas in Korea.  In 2004, he began his private practice in multiple locations in Northern Virginia.  He is currently continuing to serve in the U.S. Army Reserve as a dental officer.

 

    Dr. Yi is proficient in various disciplines in dentistry, including restorative, preventive, endodontic, prosthodontic, periodontic, oral surgery, and implant dentistry.  He strives to keep up with the latest advances in dentistry, with strong emphasis in continuing education, in order to provide the best dental care possible to his patients.

- International Congress of Oral Implantologists - Hiossen AIC Implant Continuing Education

Dr. Yi currently resides in Northern Virginia with his wife and his two daughters. On his spare time, Dr. Yi enjoys traveling with his family, participating in and watching sports, and cooking barbeque.
